I’m Forty’s Operations Director, which means I’m responsible for the practical details of Forty’s day-to-day business. My goal is to keep us running smoothly, consistently, and efficiently…and do the occasional cupcake run to keep our team fueled and happy.
I wear a lot of hats, but I enjoy the variety. “Operations” encompasses so many different things: bookkeeping, HR, travel planning, administration, copyediting, proofreading, buying, scheduling, and much more. My maternal instincts are known for kicking in, so I also love serving as Forty’s Team Mom. Our team and clients work hard, so I love showering them with ice cream, random gifts, and other treats.
Outside of work, I’m a mom of two (three if you count my husband) and an avid distance runner. At any given time, you’ll probably catch me talking about the run I just completed or the next one I’m planning. I’m convinced all this exercise helps justify my passionate love of chocolate, which you can see in my recent Ignite Phoenix talk: Why do I run? Because I really love dessert!
