Marketing ideas: aim for a different market than your competitors

There are always other tribes of individuals who are just dying to hear about your product or service.

Yeah, they may be a bit smaller than your main market, but think of the possibilities associated with targeting a few select smaller ones. Or even one incredibly influential group. These groups are out there, you just have to find creative ways to reach them.

For instance, if you’re in the business of selling peanut butter, moms who do the grocery shopping for their families are probably the most obvious (and oversaturated) market, but other underserved markets also exist for peanut butter, such as dieters, dog owners (medicine can be dispensed inside a PB glob), bakers, etc.
